DWCO is a licensed business in the State of South Carolina, with City Licensing where applicable. We are also covered under General + Professional Liability Insurance through the Professional Photographers Association and Hiscox. Why is this important? You ask?
Most venues require your vendors/ photographers to be insured up to $1 Million dollars per event. If your photography vendor can not provide this, they will not be able to provide services at your venue of choice. Some cities and counties require additional licensing, not up to or including your business licensing.
We will provide you with $250,000 worth of coverage per event, any additional coverage required by the venue is the clients responsibility. In the case of a full cancellation of your event, the client is responsible for this coverage and it's payments per month for as many months your date has been booked. DWCO, at their own expense includes coverage for Professional Liability Insurance for any photographer provided by DWCO for your event, in the event of personal injury or damages.
We also provide an Indemnification
Trust which protects and insures your images up to $10,000, which is additional coverage for any data/image loss, and Photo Care Protection which insures our equipment that we would be providing your services with.
This is also great news for our clients. The protection we provide gives our clients a peace of mind. It is not just our goal to provide you amazing quality images + services, but it is highly important to us to protect our clients + their investment, and most of all- their wedding day. Check with your venue before hiring any vendors and make sure your vendors have proper licensing and or permits before hiring. City licensing fees are the responsibility of the client under DWCO contracts. City licensing fees + permits range $50 and up if applicable.
