Meet Tori Buck, the seasoned wedding photographer extraordinaire! With over two decades of experience, Tori is renowned for her talent in capturing authentic moments with a creative twist. Co-founding Dandelion Weddings, a wedding photography service that specializes in fun, documentary-styled, creative imagery - but with a little something extra. As the Director of Photography, Tori's unique unconventional approach to planning photography will ensure your special day is captured in a way that is both memorable and magical, telling a complete story throughout.
Tori's love affair with photography began in her youth, where she could be found developing film in a makeshift darkroom she created in middle school. She continued to refine her skills through apprenticeships and formal education, ultimately graduating Magna Cum Laude from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a degree in Digital Design. In 2008, she furthered her education by earning a degree in Business Management and Marketing Magna Cum Laude.
In 2016, Tori made the bold move of relocating her business from Nashville back to her native South Carolina, with a mission to shake up the world of wedding photography. She aimed to bring a fresh perspective to the industry, focusing on artistry and creativity, while shattering conventional norms. Not only does she lead with an unconventional approach, but she also values transparency and client education.
Thanks to Tori's innovative leadership, Dandelion Weddings has snagged an impressive 48 awards and has been showcased in 41 publications. Her talented team provides a variety of photography services, from weddings and engagements to elopements, proposals, the unconventional, and even the bizarre.
Her eclectic small team of self-expressionists and creatives take pride in capturing each couple's unique love story using natural light and creative styling. Tori is particularly proud of the team's collaborative spirit and the diverse clientele they cater to, which only enhances their work and perspective.
With Tori leading as Director of Photography, since her retirement from shooting in 2025, bringing 27 years of experience as a professional wedding photographer, Dandelion Weddings offers more than just photography—it's a storytelling journey.
